The Claim Was Deducted. Why Can't You Just Clear the Pending?

A deduction in the Answers Systems trade promotion management solution is simply a status type for a completed claim. Whether we cut a check or a deduction occurs, we still fully validate the claim against the contract stored in the ContractPro® application.

Why bother validating the claim after the distributor deducts? Answers Systems helps clients recoup invalid deductions through this process. A client may have a distributor take a $25,000 deduction, for example. Through verification we find that only $5,000 is eligible. A ContractPro® user with appropriate viewing rights can then login, generate a rebill letter, and send detailed back up to the distributor demonstrating why the amount deducted is not accurate. Not only does a ContractPro® client have the opportunity to recoup deducted monies, they have the opportunity to work with the distributor to correct contract errors in the distributor’s system that resulted in the invalid deduction in the first place.
