ContractPro® Community: Growth and Change from the Inside Out

The ContractPro® Community is a dynamic, collaborative group consisting of foodservice manufacturers, brokers, distributors, operators, and the Answers Systems team. All of these entities work together within the Community to achieve a common goal that benefits each party: best-practice trade promotion management and contract management. 
 
Like all environments, the ContractPro® Community evolves and grows based on the changing demands and opportunities presented by clients, constituents, and clients’ customers. To better facilitate change and meet the growing community’s needs, we have reorganized the majority of our staff into specialized Centers of Excellence (COEs):

The Market-Facing COE’s primary responsibilities include clear, constant communication of Community goals and efforts balanced against individual client needs. Within the Market-Facing COE, Account Managers will work with each of their clients to ensure clients gain maximum benefit as a ContractPro® Community member.  
 
Account Managers will:
  • take an active role in counseling clients on best practices and how to leverage them throughout the client’s business and/or user base,
  • champion clients and their needs throughout the Answers Systems’ organization,
  • help provide equilibrium in the Community by balancing client demands against the larger Community’s needs.
The Life of a Claim COE is charged with constantly striving to achieve the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency in processing of trade promotion management claims. 
 
The Life of a Claim COE will:
  • monitor each client’s claim settlement process to ensure cleanliness and accuracy of all claim-contract related data, 
  • pinpoint areas for improved efficiency to reduce claim settlement time frames, take action internally, or request the Account Manager’s help in championing the change with his or her client,
  • provide support to users in the areas of clearing pendings and providing deduction rebill back up/research.
The IT COE is tasked with development of leading edge, best-in-class trade promotion management solutions, as well as creation of technological efficiencies for management of claim-related processes. 
 
These information technology experts will:
  • implement the ContractPro® Roadmap under the direction of the Product Manager,
  • create meaningful and insightful business analyses/reports with support from the Account Manager and client,
  • provide upgraded user experiences to Community members as new technologies are developed and implemented.
These are just highlights of how each Center of Excellence will begin to positively impact the ContractPro® Community and its members in the weeks and months to come.
